Wilderness Out-Camp Fly Fishing Vacations

Alaska Adventures sets up wilderness out-camps and mobile spike camps in several locations to gain access to even more remote fishing a bit further away from our main lodge. These camps are for clients that want a wilderness experience in prime fly fishing or bear viewing locations without any frills, just great fishing in a backcountry setting with the safety of an experienced guide and a comfortable tent camp with your meals prepared daily.

Alagnak River Salmon Out-camps

We offer outcamps on the lower Alagnak River mainly fishing for Silver Salmon or King Salmon that are running fresh out of the ocean.  We have jet boat access to the lower Alagnak for our clients that stay at the lodge but the best times to fish for Silver Salmon is in the morning and evening and these outcamps allow clients to do one overnight in the outcamp.  Some groups decide that they want to stay in the outcamp all week and cut their prices down. 

Katmai Park Trout Out-camps

 We also offer outcamp locations on other sections of the Alagnak as well as Kukaklek and Nonvianuk Lakes when fishing is best in these specific sections of river.  If targeting rainbow trout we pick areas that are well known for good wadding possibilities amongst the many islands and braids.  We also target the areas where we know hold lots of rainbow trout, or where there are spawning salmon that are dropping eggs.
